The Materials Department is responsible for the following Project Team functions:

• Review material certification requirements associated with the project.



• Interface with the Engineering Department during the process of selecting components.



• Expedite any materials identified as having schedule impact.



• Communicate potential material delivery problems to Project Management as they may arise.



• Deliver materials to Production Personnel in accordance with the Project Schedule.
